Featuring Festool’s advanced power electronics and brushless EC-TEC motor, this latest-generation track saw takes full advantage of the new TBX 8 Tabless battery, delivering performance equal to or better than the previous generation. Festool testing indicates that the TSC 55 KS paired with a TBX 8 Tabless battery can make up to 31% more cuts per charge, although performance may vary depending on the application.

When used with specially designed grouped-tooth thin-kerf saw blades measuring 1.6 mm (1/16 in.), the TSC 55 KS produces high-quality cuts with greater efficiency and longer runtime.

Built-in safety with the TSC 55 KS

Equipped with innovative sensor-based KickbackStop technology, the saw reacts instantly in the event of kickback by stopping the blade to help protect the workpiece and user from injury.

Fast and precise depth adjustment, with or without the guide rail

The stepped depth indicator provides clear, accurate, parallax-free depth readings whether the saw is used with or without a guide rail. The fine adjustment allows you to precisely set the cutting depth as required for applications such as dadoes, grooves, and rabbets.

Festool track saws provide virtually dust-free operation

Whether using the TSC 55 KS with the redesigned included dust bag or a Bluetooth-activated dust extractor, the Festool extraction system captures dust at the source to keep the air, workpiece, workbench, and floor cleaner.

Redesigned slim motor housing

Completely redesigned, the new TSC 55 KS motor housing now sits entirely within the guide rail, helping prevent it from catching on clamps or material edges.

Transparent blade window or splinterguard

The transparent blade window at the front of the saw provides a clear view of the cut while protecting you from chips and improving dust extraction. It can be replaced with the green splinterguard for flawless, splinter-free cuts on the right side of the blade.

FastFix for quick and easy blade changes

Activate the FastFix lever on the track saw handle to engage the spindle lock. Then use the included hex key to remove the arbor bolt and change the blade. Fast and simple, so you can get back to work quickly.

Integrated connectivity with the Festool app

Monitor the battery charge status, motor temperature, and KickbackStop status. The app also provides access to software updates to keep the saw operating at peak performance.
