When the mobile dust extractor is switched on, the SELFCLEAN filter bag inflates. When the dust extractor is switched off, the bag collapses, removing accumulated dust deposits inside. This helps keep the bag cleaner and maintain high suction power for longer. The Festool filter bag also serves as a pre-filter and can trap dust particles down to 5 microns. By capturing these fine particles as well as larger chips, it helps extend the service life of the main HEPA filter, reducing wear and the need for frequent filter replacement.
