Installation in under two minutes
Made from Quebec aluminum and assembled in the Lanaudière region, the ProtecMi ladder stabilizer is equipped with two anchoring mechanisms that firmly secure the ladder to a wall or roof. Combining strength, performance, and ease of use, this innovative safety device was awarded the CNESST Grand Prize for Occupational Health and Safety in 2020, in the Innovation category.
«I was sick of seeing our
roofers get hurt because
of the ladders!» »
Patrick Perreault, a roofing foreman with 25 years of experience, is the inventor of the ProtecMi ladder stabilizer. After seven years of research and development and testing over a dozen prototypes, a universal model that can be quickly installed on all types of ladders was patented. Patrick then partnered with André Boucher, president of Couverture Bellemare Ltée, to bring the product to market in Quebec and across Canada.
RÉSIDENTIEL
The ProtecMi residential steel ladder stabilizer was designed to provide optimal safety for elevated work around the home. Once installed, it prevents any backward movement of the ladder, even on icy surfaces. It also eliminates any risk of lateral slipping thanks to enhanced stability, offering 220% greater side resistance.
Equipped with non-slip pads, the stabilizer protects contact surfaces. The ladder doesn’t rub against eaves or gutters, helping to prevent damage to your home’s exterior components.
With its simple and effective design, this versatile piece of equipment allows you to carry out elevated tasks like a pro—safely and hassle-free.
COMMERCIAL
The ProtecMi Commercial aluminum ladder stabilizer was specifically designed for worksites where safety is paramount. According to CNESST standards, any ladder used at height must be securely fastened to the roof or wall. But with what can it be attached—quickly, effectively, and safely?
That’s exactly what the ProtecMi stabilizer is for. Its anchoring system, combined with non-slip pads, keeps the ladder perfectly stable, preventing any slipping, shifting, falling, or vibration, even in challenging conditions.
This professional-grade stabilizer can be used on all types of roofs, whether flat or sloped, and even on flat roofs with parapets. It was designed to exceed CNESST safety requirements, with performance surpassing the standard by 125%.
