The Pylex 50 in adjustable helical pile is designed to securely support a deck, shed or porch. This advantageous substitute allows the installation without having to dig or pour concrete. Its adjustable saddle allows up to 3 in in height for easy leveling during construction. Its steel shaft and its helix disc ensure its stability. Under ground depth of 42 in. up to the frost line, for greater resistance to ground heave. The helical pile adapts to several types of terrain: with a load bearing capacity of 5 000 lbs in sandy soil and 3 500 lbs in clay soil. Use with 4 in x 4 in posts. Not be used for fencing. Tip: You can use 1/2 in rebar to determine if there are obstructions in your soil or to act as a pilot guide when installing the helical pile screw.
