The OLFA HOB Dual-Edge Hook Safety Blade is made of premium carbon tool steel for durable and reliable cutting performance. Its unique hooked design lifts the material as you cut while maintaining distance between the sharp blade and the material underneath, helping provide safer operation.
It delivers twice the number of cuts compared to a single-edge blade and is suitable for cutting construction materials as well as opening bags and boxes in warehouse environments. It is compatible with OLFA SK-4, SK-9, and UTC-1 utility knives.
The blade is suitable for a variety of materials, including bagged goods, up to 2-ply corrugated cardboard, films, plastic strapping bands, pallet and shrink-wrap, and tape.
