This Featherlite 40-foot industrial aluminum extension ladder has a load capacity of 300 lb, rated ANSI Type IA. It features the MAXLOCK rung lock, custom-designed from an advanced patented molecular polymer. MAXLOCK is the strongest, most durable, and lightest rung lock ever made. The ladder also includes the patented QuickLatch RungLock system, providing a simple and intuitive method to secure the fly and base sections when deployed. Additional features include external sliding guides, fully serrated D-shaped rungs for a non-slip surface, scratch-resistant rail end caps, rope and pulley, and swivel safety shoes that can be used as a step down or in the pointed position. The Featherlite 3240D aluminum extension ladder meets or exceeds safety standards established by ANSI, CSA, and OSHA. Model 3232D shown.
