Freud’s innovative large crown molding system offers woodworkers a unique solution for producing 5-1/2 in wide crown moldings from virtually any hardwood or softwood. The system includes six bits: three for the upper half of the molding and three for the lower half. Upper and lower bits can be mixed and matched to create up to nine different profiles. Use exclusively on a router table with a minimum 6 in fence. Routing must be performed in three or more passes, always using featherboards and hold-down devices to keep the material firmly against the fence.
Allows the creation of beautiful 5-1/2 in wide crown moldings for ceilings and cabinetry in a wide variety of materials.
