The CornerCut™ by Milescraft® takes the guesswork out of creating rounded corners and 45-degree chamfers on woodworking projects. Save time sanding profiles to size by using a router to cleanly and accurately round off corners.
The CornerCut™ includes 5 radius templates measuring 1/4, 1/2, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 in (6, 13, 25, 38 and 50 mm), as well as 3 corner chamfer templates for 1/2, 1 and 2 in (13, 25 and 50 mm) distances. Each template stores directly on the jig, preventing pieces from being lost or misplaced. The space-saving flip design allows quick rotation of the templates to change the profile.
The CornerCut™ is compatible with any router setup. By removing the handle and clamping the jig to the workpiece, trim, compact and full-size routers can be used on the flat-top surface while following the top bearing on a router bit. For use on a router table, reconnect the handle and follow the bottom bearing as you move the workpiece from right to left. The CornerCut™ includes a 1/2 x 1-1/4 in Dual Bearing Flush Trim Router Bit with a 1/4 in shank, making it ready to use right out of the box.
If your workpiece is narrower, the CornerCut™ can be adjusted to accommodate the smaller width. By moving the edge guide references closer together for smaller boards or farther apart for larger boards, maximum contact and control can be maintained. The rubber-padded base also helps grip the workpiece and prevent slipping during routing.
